So it claims to be an inspiration for other settlements in South Asia. In the survey, the questionnaire put up “Is Delhi a sustainable settlement? If yes or no, then how?” The majority of people reported that No, it is not since the quality of environment has been depleted than before here. The living conditions for livelihood are unsafe and hazardous for humans and animals both.
With the survey responses, on the whole, it can be said that Delhi settlement is one of the ancient advanced settlements but in the world today, it’s not a safe livelihood and settlement now. Evidently, it has seen many warships, destruction, killings and deforestation. Generally, an old settlement preserves its authenticity to claim itself to be superior and better than others but in case of Delhi, the river Yamuna is almost extinct from its presence. There is an extreme change in the climate condition here, which damages the sustainability of humans, animals and planets. People in Delhi must be aware and make it a habitable place to survive for all.
